Sharpen Your Skills
Clinics are not just for kids. It is for anyone having the desire to learn to shoot a bow. If you’re new to archery or want to sharpen your skills, there is a clinic for you. Bring your equipment and the bow tech will go over what you have and determine if it is the best fit for you. If you are new options will be discussed to what fits your needs. Second you head to the range for a lesson on the importance of shooting form. Now is the time to ask questions and feel comfortable. Everyone’s pace is different; when skills develop you will be ready to start shooting at the 3-d targets. After this lesson you will develop your own rhythm through practice and only if you feel you need more pointers will you need another clinic.
We have kid’s clinics, please call ahead so we can schedule for this event. Bring your bow or use our genesis bows with sight on, release and 3 arrows. A Full Quiver Coach than spends time teaching mechanics of the bow, form and safety. Using these skills and encouragement from the coach will shoot at a 10 yard target. The object is to be comfortable at the end of the session with loading an arrow and shooting at the target using correct form. The next session you schedule will than start with a refresher of form and safety and establish their next step. This is an individual process and we like to keep them interested! Parents can sit in the seating area enjoy a drink while watching through the glass wall or sit at a table on the range floor and observe.
